The City of Avon Park is recruiting volunteers for its holiday Decorating Committee. Volunteers will create recommendations and a proposal for the City Council to update the holiday displays on Main Street. Committee members will be appointed by the City Council during its Regular meeting on December 11th, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at City Council Chambers, 123 E. Pine Street, Avon Park, FL 33825. If you're interested, email the City Clerk at chardman@avonpark.city or call (863) 452-4405 to be added to the consideration list. The City Clerk is also available at City Hall, 110 E. Main Street, Avon Park, FL 33825.
