The City of Avon Park, Florida, in conformance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), Florida Statutes Section 287.055, et seq., and the policies and procedures of the City of Avon Park, is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified professional surveying firms that are interested in providing general surveying services for studies, design, plans production, construction management, and for other miscellaneous engineering, public works, and planning projects.
The City intends to award continuing services contracts to multiple firms, consisting of a one (1) primary and one (1) secondary firm, deemed to be the most highly qualified to perform the required services. In determining whether a firm is qualified, the City shall consider such factors as the ability of professional personnel; past performance; willingness to meet time and budget requirements; location; recent, current and projected workloads of the firms.
