Service has been restored and pressures should be normal. The break occurred at the damaged hydrant at the corner of Camphor and US 27; the areas impacted by the boil water notice are outlined in the attached notice. We are awaiting sample results before lifting the precautionary boil water notice.

Residents and Businesses,
Due to an auto accident that occurred on US-27 near W . Camphor Street (in front of Little Caesars) where an automobile hit a fire hydrant, we are experiencing lower than normal water pressure. The Utility Division is currently trying to get the water shut off within the vicinity of the repair, but we may have to perform a complete shutdown within the next 20 minutes. Your home may lose water pressure or experience low water pressure. We will provide an update once the repair has been completed.
A precautionary boil water notice will be issued for affected homes and businesses.
